Nagpur, September 05, 2025 | Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIM Nagpur) has secured the 25th position in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 in the Management category, marking a significant milestone in its journey of academic excellence. Notably, the institute has also been ranked 10th among all IIMs in the key parameters of Outreach & Inclusivity as well as in Perception, reaffirming its growing reputation and impact.
IIM Nagpur has taken a massive leap in the NIRF rankings from 43rd rank in 2023 to 31st rank in 2024 and now 25th rank in 2025 reflecting its rapid rise as one of the most promising management institutions in the country.
With just a decade of excellence, IIM Nagpur is one of the youngest institutions to break into the NIRF Top 25 in Management, while the average age of the Top 25 institutions in this category is 36 years. This underscores the institute’s exceptional progress and its ability to stand alongside long-established peers.

- Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR): Increased from 71.57 to 73.59 → 2.8% improvement, reflecting continued strengthening of academic infrastructure
- Research & Professional Practice (RP): Rose from 27.17 to 34.91 → 28.48% improvement, marking significant growth in research output and publications
- Graduation Outcomes (GO): Improved from 86.55 to 87.03 → 0.6% rise, consolidating excellent career outcomes
- Outreach & Inclusivity (OI): Advanced from 70.33 to 74.65 → 6.1% improvement, underlining IIM Nagpur’s growing emphasis on diversity and accessibility
- Peer Perception (PP): Increased from 29.78 to 34.62 → 16.2% improvement, reflecting rising recognition from peers and industry stakeholders
