    Hyderabad, October 2025:

Aurora Degree and PG College, Hyderabad, is celebrating the remarkable achievements of one of its outstanding alumni, Sensei Dr. Ganesh, who has excelled not only in academics but also carved a distinguished name for himself in the world of sports, particularly Karate. A postgraduate from the M.Sc. Organic Chemistry, Dr. Ganesh has become a symbol of dedication, discipline and excellence for the institution.

Demonstrating extraordinary prowess in martial arts, Dr. Ganesh recently etched his name in history by becoming a proud team member in setting a Guinness World Record for the “Largest Karate Display.” The monumental event, organized by the World Karate Masters Association (India) on October 5, 2025, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, witnessed the participation of thousands of trained martial artists showcasing synchronized Karate techniques. Dr. Ganesh’s participation in this global event stands as a testament to his unwavering commitment to the art.

Currently, Dr. Ganesh is serving as an R&D Scientist in a reputed Research and Development Department, where he continues to blend scientific curiosity with the discipline he has imbibed from years of martial arts training. Holding the prestigious rank of Karate Black Belt 2nd Dan, he has been officially certified both as a Black Belt and as a Karate Coach by the Karate India Organization (KIO), a recognition reserved for individuals who display exceptional skill and knowledge.

Alongside his professional responsibilities, Dr. Ganesh is passionately involved in training young aspirants. As a dedicated coach, he focuses on instilling the core values of Karate—discipline, perseverance, respect, and self-confidence—in the next generation. His students widely admire him for his patient guidance, motivational teaching style, and inspiring personal journey.

In honour of his international achievement and his contributions to sports and society, Aurora Degree and PG College felicitated Dr. Ganesh at a special ceremony. The event was graced by Principal Dr. M.C. Ajay Kumar, Vice Principal Mr. Sai Krishna, Head of the Chemistry Department Dr. M. Sharath Babu, and Secretary Mr. Ramesh. College representatives expressed immense pride in witnessing their students excel on national and global platforms, emphasizing that such accomplishments bring recognition not only to the individual but also uplift the institution’s reputation.

Speaking at the programme, the dignitaries praised Dr. Ganesh’s dedication, describing him as a role model for aspiring students. They highlighted that his journey—from academic excellence to scientific research and international martial arts recognition—embodies the spirit of holistic education that the institution promotes. They also expressed confidence that his record-breaking achievement will motivate many more students to pursue their passions with determination and courage.

Dr. Ganesh, in his message, thanked the college faculty, mentors, and his family for their continuous support. He reiterated his commitment to contributing to both scientific research and the promotion of martial arts among youth.

Aurora Degree and PG College proudly celebrates this milestone and extends its heartfelt best wishes to Sensei Dr. Ganesh for all his future endeavours.
